Insights from behavioral and psychological sciences

Dear colleagues,

We are excited to announce the symposium on “Research and Policy for the Climate: Insights from behavioral, psychological, and political sciences” which will be organized by the work group Psychology and Society and the RASAB National Committee Psychological Sciences.

The symposium will take place on Friday November 28th between 9am and 3pm at the Université libre de Bruxelles, USQUARE site.

Behavioral, psychological, and political sciences offer critical insights into how individuals and institutions perceive climate risks, make decisions, and act upon them. This symposium brings together researchers and experts from different domains at the intersection between research and policy to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration for more effective, systematic evidence-based strategies for climate mitigation and adaptation.

The program features invited talks by four experts*, as well as a poster session for which we will have an open submission.

Please save the date and spread the word! More information regarding the registration and abstract submission will be provided in September via the same channels. For now, there is no webpage yet, but should you have any pressing questions, you can contact us via ruth.krebs@ugent.be.
