Dear EAMHID friend,
The 15th EAMHID congress themed ‘Unleashing talent – Embracing diversity’ will be held in Ghent, Belgium, on September 18-20 2025. The Congress will be an important occasion for cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of mental health in people with an intellectual disability, and it will provide numerous possibilities for all those people (academics, professionals, parents and individuals with a disability) to encounter and discuss mental health issues among persons with disabilities. The common goal is to increase knowledge and share best practices to improve life of people with intellectual disabilities.
Registration is now open, as it is the possibility to submit abstracts. We welcome abstracts related to intellectual disabilities and mental health, from researchers and practitioners but also from individuals with a disability or parents in co-productive way. Deadline for abstract submission is 01.03.2025.
