SEXUAL AGGRESSION AMONG COLLEGE STUDENTS: LONGITUDINAL AND CROSS-CULTURAL EVIDENCE ON RISK FACTORS AND OUTCOMES

Een lezing door Prof. dr. Barbara Krahé Potsdam University, Potsdam, Duitsland Longitudinal

Longitudinal studies on risk factors for sexual aggression among young
adults are still scarce and were mostly conducted in the United States.
In this talk, Prof. Krahé will present findings from longitudinal studies
conducted with female and male college students in Germany, Brazil,
Chile, Turkey, and Poland. The studies are based on the proposition
that sexual scripts as cognitive representations of consensual sexual
interactions play a central role in guiding sexual behaviour patterns
that, in turn, predict the risk of engaging in unwanted sexual contacts.
