Data van dit evenement

Despite the increasing trend in the use of prescription sedatives, analgesics and stimulants among young people worldwide, it is the first time that research is being conducted in Belgium into the nature and patterns of the nonmedical use of psychoactive medication by young adults, their perceptions of the risks, the availability of these medicines and the possible sources of information about these medicines. This research (YOUTH-PUMED) is a collaboration between Ghent University, Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles and VIVES Hogeschool and funded by The Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO).

At the webinar June 1st the research consortium will present the results of this study. We also welcome international speakers who will present about the nonmedical use of psychoactive medicines in Europe and US. The final session of the webinar is dedicated to policy recommendations, which will include also the voices of young adults themselves.
